An Afternoon of Radioactivity
The Trinity College School of Chemistry is this year celebrating its 300th anniversary and to celebrate has organised an open series of lectures entitled "An Afternoon of Radioactivity" which will include an address by Professor Hélène Langevin-Joliot, the grand-daughter of Marie Curie. 2011 marks the 100th anniversary of the award of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry to Marie Curie. The lecture series will take place on Friday 15th July 2011 at 2pm in the MacNeill Lecture Theatre, Hamilton Building, Trinity College Dublin.
